Stefano recently completed his PhD at Oxford working on the Siku Quanshu, the largest pre-modern Chinese encyclopaedia. He is a graduate of Yale University, double-majoring in Economics and Philosophy (cum-laude, Honors in Philosophy), and Peking University where he read Chinese Philosophy (taught in Chinese). After graduating from Oxford, he returned to his native country of Greece to carry out his military service where he was selected for the Presidential Guard. He is currently working at the Ministry of Education in Greece advising on matters of internationalisation of higher education.
