Salary: £25,000 pro rata (0.6 FTE), from July 2023 – until January 2024
The Royal Asiatic Society is seeking a part-time Collections Assistant for three days a week. This role is offered on a temporary basis to ensure smooth running of our heritage services during a member of staff’s parental leave.

This role may especially suit those seeking to gain experience working in the heritage sector, especially with Asian collections, or those with a particular interest in the Society and its work.
Ideally, the Collections Assistant should be able to work during the Library’s usual opening hours: Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays, between 09:30 and 17:30. Some flexibility and additional hours may be possible, but please note that this role is not suitable for home working. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.
Applications will be via CV and covering letter. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org by 4pm on Friday 9 June for instructions and a copy of the Job Description. The last day for receipt of applications is Sunday 11 June.
Please note that interviews will be held at the RAS on Tuesday 4 July, with a start date for the successful candidate w/b Monday 17 July.
