The Centre for Global South Asia is delighted to announce the launch of ‘Rethinking Asia: Tea & Tigers’, an online exhibition co-curated by a cohort of ten international students who were selected for the Exhibit Asia Curatorial Fellowship organised by the Centre in June-July 2023. Fellows from Royal Holloway (UK), Kyushu University (Japan), Delhi University (India), National College of Arts (Pakistan) and the National University of the Arts (Taiwan), worked together to produce an exhibition exploring pan-Asia symbols and national narratives. The Fellowship was supported by the Royal Asiatic Society along with other partners, and was produced in collaboration with The Heritage Lab.
